FAQ's
What type of exercise will I be doing?
You’ll be doing 3x 30-minute strength-training workouts and 2x 30-minute cardio workouts a week.
For the strength-training workouts you’ll be using dumbbells and bodyweight.
This is the best method for toning and sculpting your body. And don't worry, I 100% promise that lifting weights won't make you bulky. As a female, unless you're taking steroids and eating a ton of food, building muscle through lifting weights will only make you look tighter and more toned.
For the cardio workouts, you can choose whatever type you’d like eg. running, cycling, swimming, stair climbing etc. But you’ll be using a specific method called HIIT (high-interval intensity training)…not as scary as it sounds and I’ll show you exactly how to do it.
Do I need a gym membership?
No, these workouts are designed to do at home, although you can also do them at the gym if you want.
What equipment do I need?
2 pairs of dumbbells (I recommend 1x 5lb pair and 1x 10lb pair), an exercise mat (a big towel or yoga mat will do too), and then some home props such as a step and chair. If you don't have dumbbells, you can get creative and use 2 water bottles or 2 cans of food instead.
What if I'm not sure how to do an exercise?
Form is super important! That’s why I’ve included video demos for every exercise in the strength-training workouts. So you can simply click on the video icon next to the exercise and it’ll show you exactly how to do it.
I’m vegan/ vegetarian/ gluten-free. Will the food recommendations in the book include options for me?
Yes. The lists of foods are very comprehensive and there’ll be plenty of options for you whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, a meat-eater and/or gluten-free.
